Plaque Seal

16.11.06.348
Steatite plaque seal in the shape of a cartouche. One side is inscribed with the name of Thutmosis III flanked by two uraei. The other side is damaged, revealing the perforation hole, but there are traces of inscription on the surface. Pierced through the length for suspension. Professor Percy Newberry made a wax impression of the seal, now preserved in the archive.
