Platyceps florulentus (Geoffroy, 1827)

Olive-brown, grey-brown or reddish above, usually with one or two dark crossbars on the head followed by a series of narrow transverse bars on the neck and back which gradually transform into longitudinal rows of rounded blotches. Underside white, yellowish or bright red. Length up to 1 m.
