Ploughing, Valley of the Conway

This scene of the Valley of Conway in Wales is one that Davis produced a number of versions of. He often painted pastoral scenes containing references to farming and rural life and this is quite typical of his subject matter. He used local scenery often in his paintings as well as that of Wales and Ireland.
