Portrait of a Gentleman, Standing Holding Hat

This could be a portrait of a member of the Molyneux family, Earls of Sefton since the 18th century. Scanlan was an Irish painter, best known for portraits of the British prime ministers Robert Peel (1788-1850) and the Duke of Wellington (1769-1852).
