Potstand

Pottery ring shaped stand to support a jar. Concave sides, flaring top, carinated-collar base. No trace of an excavation mark. Assumed to be from Sir Francis Danson's subscriptions to Garstang's excavations at Abydos, 1907-1909. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, large chip to surface, large area of loss, pitted, surface dirt.
