Power Chair Ball

ID: A very large white football with a black, red and grey diamond pattern printed across it. This football was used in games of powerchair football by the Power Football Club at Greenbank Sports Academy in Sefton Park. The game is played in specialist electric wheelchairs that enable chair contact. The ball is extra-large to stop it from getting caught under players’ wheelchairs. The Academy hosts a range of different sports activities and disability sports teams through its inclusive sport and activity programme. Their aim is to break down barriers and make it easier for disabled people to get active.
