Prawning, Seaford

Short spent much of his working life in Sussex, frequently drawing the changing coastal landscape. This is Seaford in East Sussex, where he often sketched the interplay between sea and sky. Here there is a suggestion of everyday life. Prawns were easily gathered at low tide in the rock pools along the shore.
