Pricket candlestick

Pricket candlestick, one of a pair (to LL 9515), with saucer-shaped trays on three cloud-scroll feet. Insides the tray is a tortoise and snake, and on the back of the tortoise a crane standing with outspread wings supporting the pricket, which has a small grease-tray attached. The feet of the crane are damaged and fixed by metal. The saucer is craved inside with wave pattern, and outside with a band of stiff petals. Mottled green jade, clouded in parts with grey.
