Psammophylax rhombeatus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Medium-sized snake with small head and pointed snout. Back is grey to pale olive-grey with three distinct dark brown stripes, the central one may be divided by thin yellowish line, the lateral stripes pass through the eyes. Belly uniform white to cream. Length up to 70 cm.
