Ptychadena mascareniensis (Dumeril & Bibron, 1841)

Brown or olive-green above with rows of darker spots and a broad central band cream, yellow, orange-brown or green in colour although this mat be replaced by a narrow line. Underside white or cream. Length of males up to 57 mm, females 69 mm.
