Ptychadena neumanni (Ahl, 1924)

Pale or dark grey, yellowish or brown above, sometimes suffused with orange-red pigment on head and flanks and with prominent brown, black or green spots and blotches. A band or line runs along the centre of the back, usually cream, yellow, green, pinkish or tan in colour. Underside cream, usually unmarked. Males up to 40 mm, females to 47 mm.
