Ram-headed Funerary Scarab

Information
A protective amulet for the dead that combines the body of a scarab beetle with the head of ram. Held between the back legs is a shen hieroglyph representing protection and eternity. Pierced around the edge with 27 holes for threading on a bead net placed over a mummified body or for stiching the amulet direct to the wrappings.
