Wartime Log for British Prisoners belonging to James Waggott, [23 October 1922 - 11 March 2013], seafarer, POW (Prisoner of War), Second World War. Captured on Port Wellington, Port Line, November 1940, held in Sandbostel Stalag then Milag Nord. Liberated April 1945 Entertainment programmes from Milag Nord performances and one from Ilag Tost, British Civilian Internment Camp. Editions of The Camp, newspaper produced by the Germans for British POWs - April and May 1942, some loose German lessons from The Camp. Later letters re POW experience. Note: Some of the photographs in the wartime diary depict racist tropes concerning Native Americans (POW camp theatrical performance). There is also an antisemitic pamphlet tucked in the back of the diary.
