Refloating HMS submarines E4 and E41, Royal Navy

Glass lantern slide by unknown maker, dated 1917. Raising HMS submarines E4 and E41, which had collided during practice drills off the coast of Harwich, Essex, on 15 August 1916. All 33 hands aboard E4 were lost, with 14 surviving from E41.
