Forgery of an ancient Egyptian antiquity acquired by Sir Henry Wellcome from Robert de Rustafjaell. Marked in pencil 80a. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, worn, surface dirt, abraided surface, chipped, surface dirt. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 19 – 21 December 1906 (de Rustafjaell sale) Lot 80a: A lot of about twenty-five pieces of small stone Stelae, etc. (some false); a large basalt Bowl, of oblong form, for ablutions included".
