Forgery of an ancient Egyptian antiquity acquired by Sir Henry Wellcome from Robert de Rustafjaell. Paper label with serrated edge printed "18". Round label with blue border with pencil number 75/12. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, chipped, worn, remnants of label adhered to surface, labels adhered, discolouration, surface dirt. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 19 – 21 December 1906 (de Rustafjaell sale) Lot 75/12 "Three stelae and various fragments".
