Forgery of an ancient Egyptian antiquity acquired by Sir Henry Wellcome before 1936. Ceramic plaque with moulded image of a winged sphinx. Sticker on the back with ink annotation "481/4". Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 27778. Purchased at Stevens's Auction House, London, 13 July 1920 Lot 175.
