Fragment of indurated limestone, probably an architectural element.. A corner piece with the largest flat side carved with a column of hieroglyphs in sunk relief that appear to be the name of Meritaten and her relationship to Nefertiti. Part of the latter's name has been effaced. Marked in black ink by the excavator TA.32.33. 68 and P.55. Find number 32/68: From the Central City, Great Aten Temple , Gem-Aten, Courts 1 and 2. Excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society in 1932. Acquired by the EES in the division of finds. Donated to the East Anglia Egyptian Society by the EES in recognition of a contribution to the EES (excavation subscription). Donated to Norwich Castle Museum. Purchased from the collections of Norwich Castle Museum in 1956 by Liverpool City Museum (now World Museum).
