Information

Piece of roughly shaped limestone (has been published as sandstone) used by an artists as a trial piece. One one side there are traces of red pigment on the surface and a carved reed sign (Gardinar's Sign-List M17). On another side is a human face. Marked by the excavator in black ink 136. From the Central City: Foreign Office, area Q42.7. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, chipped surface, surface dirt, concretions, label adhered to base.
