Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze statue of Amitayus or Tsepame seated on a double lotus pedestal, in yogic or meditational pose. Both hands resting in lap, holding a vase with the nectar of long-life. Out of the vase comes a flowering Ashoka twig. He wears a large five-jewelled crown of the Bodhisattva set with turquiose and red glass. Base is in place, but has been prized open and contents appear to have been removed.
