Small bronze figure of Amitayus seated on a double lotus pedestal, in yogic or meditational pose. Both hands resting in lap, holding a vase with the nectar of long-life. Sprouting from the vase is a flowering Ashoka twig. He wears a large five-jewelled crown of the Bodhisattva, which is set with turquiose blue glass. Behind him there is a triple nimbus.
Likely used in a family shrine, taken on a pilgrimage, or for use in a ga'u.
