Standing figure of Avalokiteshvara or Chenrezi (Bodhisattva of Compassion). He has eleven heads arranged in the form of a crown, which include nine Bodhisattva heads that appear in rows of three. The tenth head is Mahakala. His main hands are brought together in a prayer mudra. The hands of his eight arms should hold the attributes, but all are missing apart from the lotus flower still in the upper left hand and the vase of immortality in his lower left hand. Figure more recently attached to Chinese wooden base.
