Religious Figure / Green Tara

Small bronze figure of Green Tara. Figure sits on a double lotus pedestal in pose of royal ease. Her right hand is extended in the gesture of charity or blessing or varada mudra, while the left hand is holding the stem of a half opened utpala lotus flower that appears behind her left shoulder. She wears, the robes, jewellery and the five-jewelled crown of the Bodhisattva. Red, blue and yellow pigment still visible to head.
