Bronze portrait statue of a lama or Historical Buddha disciple or arhat. Figure seated in yogic or meditational position on a double lotus pedestal. Right hand reaches down in bhumisparsha (enlightenment) mudra and left hand faces upwards resting his lap. He wears the patched robe of the lama with a shawl pulled up around his neck. He has a receding hairline and a large amount of pigment and gilt is still visible on his face. The base is sealed and decorated with the double dorje and the contents are still in place.
