Religious Figure / Padmapani

Dark copper alloy statue of Padmapani, seated in royal pose of ease with right foot touching lotus, seated on double lotus pedestal that appears to be to the original pedestal. Right hand offers the gesture of generosity (varada mudra) flanked by two flowering lotuses. Left hand holds stem of lotus. He appears to wear a crown of three jewels and has a small amount of jewellery. Yellow pigment is still visible to face, neck and back of crown. Back of statue is flat and there is a bracket, suggesting this statue was attached to other figures or structure.
