Chinese bronze figure of Padmasambhava. He wears the distinctive crown of the Guru Rinpoche, with the side flaps of the hat pinned up. His hair falls in coils about his shoulders. He wears the robes of a lama and his shoulders are covered with a cloak or shawl. His right is raised to his heart and should be holding a dorje, which is missing, and in his left hand, which is resting in his lap he holds a bowl filled with the nectar of liberation. The base is closed and decorated with the double dorje, the contents are still in place, although they are very loose.
