Religious Figure / Tsongkhapa

Small domestic or travelling statue of Tsongkhapa. He sits in the yogic position on a single lotus pedestal. Behind his left shoulder is a fully opened lotus and behind his right a closed lotus. His hands are held at heart level in the dharmachakra or teaching mudra. He wears the distinctive mitre of the Gelugkpa school.
