Large brass statue of Vajrasana. He is seated in meditational pose with right hand, palm down, shown in earth-witnessing or bhumisparsha mudra. Left hand is empty, but there is a hole that shows he did hold a bowl or vessel. Buddha's robe with details of the patchwork incised, pleats folded over the legs, and draped over the knees, there is a dorje placed in front of him. Hair has been left without gilt and painted thickly in blue, which is still present, also has pigment on lips and on the eyes and a small jewel is still present in between the eyes. He sits on a double lotus pedestal or throne. Base still has cover and incised with double dorje and contents are still in place.
