Religious Object / Pedestal for Figure

Bronze pedestal for Buddhist or Hindu figure, three holes in pedestal show where figure should sit. Cast in eight parts, with legs holding sprigs of lotus flowers that make up the nimbus. These are inlaid with paste and glass of ruby red and turquoise. The base is rectangular and supported by two sanggye or guardian lion-dogs, with a additional piece of fabric shown as an apron at front).
