Information

Red-figure on black Rhyton in the form of bull's head. The neck of the container is cylindrical, the rim everted and decorated externally with the motif of the running spiral. On the neck there is a scene with a seated woman, body turned to the right but head looking back to its left. She holds lekanis on her left hand and a wreath in her right raised hand. Shje wears a long chiton and has her hair raised up in a high knot. The ears of the animal are very realistic and horizontal to the head and from the two horns one is broken. Several fragments from the neck and the rim are missing.
