Rngon pa / hunter mask

A large teardrop-shaped mask with a dark blue face. The stylized face is decorated with cowrie shells and tin Buddhist symbols. The face is finished with a white and brown beard and the nose is attached with two stitches allowing it to be folded for travel. The face is framed by a headdress in silk brocade, which has an applique silk flaming jewel finial and trailing streamers attached to it from white metal endless knots.
