Three roots, found inside a leather bag at Lahun. Possibly cyperus esculentus [information supplied by Riccardo Andreozzi 29 October 2021]. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black on the cork by Percy Newberry: "XII Kahun Roots found in leather bag".
