Rouleau vase

Vase, of rouleau form, painted chiefly in red and gold. On the body, a close floral scroll with large flowers and small foliage in white and red in a gilt ground. On the neck, a scroll with large flowers in yellow and pink and green with gold foliage on a white ground. On the shoulder, four medallions with dragon scrolls in a ground diapered with red curled scrolls, inset with formal flowers in red and gold. Borders of curled scrolls, ju-i (ruyi ''as-you-wish'') heads, and ovals containing flowers, and gadroons.
