Right sandal of a pair made from plant fibre (palm fibre or papyrus plant fibre?). Sandal strap incomplete and end part missing. Not as well preserved as the left sandal.  Late Period or after. Found during Professor Emery's 1966/7 excavation season at Saqqara for the Egypt Exploration Society. Number H5-590.

CONDITION NOTE (1998): Fragmenting, unstable, old insect infestation, discolouration,surface dirt.
