Sarcophagus corner

Sarcophagus corner, one of the acroteria masks of the sarcophagus lid of 59.148.244, now in five pieces, consisting of the front panel, two pediments ( 59.148.307.1 and 59.148.307.4 ) and the two acroteria masks ( 59.148.307.2 and 59.148.307.3 ). The long piece reprsented the return from the hunt. Blundell paid £13 for the piece. Metal rod projecting out top of the head.
