A white jasper saucer partially dipped in blue jasper with white jasper sprigged decoration. It matches the cup, LL1542, whIch has elaborate sprigging based on designs by Lady Elizabeth Templetown (1747-1823).  The white stripes are produced by removing the top blue layer of jasper using an engine turning lathe. Wedgwood developed this technique.
