Scarab

Carved steatite scarab shaped seal with a wax impression made by Percy Newberry who dated the scarab to the 18th Dynasty. Found by John Garstang at Hierakonpolis (site no. 643), probably from the New Kingdom temple rebuilding by Thutmose III.
