Information

Steatite scarab seal decorated on one side with details of the head and legs. The other side is inscribed with a depiction of Ptah standing on a pedestal in the middle, to the right a representation of a standing god holding a staff with a sun-disc above his head, to the left possibly a representation of the goddess Isis protecting Ptah with her outstretched wings. Above them is a winged sun-disc. There are remains of a hieroglyphic inscription at the bottom. Pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped on one end. Traces of a shiny brown glaze on one end.
