Green glazed steatite scarab seal with details of the head, wings and legs finely carved on the back, and flat base inscribed with a scorpion and a recumbent lion with sun-disc. Pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped in several places including quite badly on the base. There are remains of a metal mount in the perforation hole.
