Steatite scarab seal with details of the head and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a representation of a building, perhaps a temple, containing two nefer signs and also framed by two nefer signs, with a bird outstretching its wings at the top. Pierced through the length for suspension. Heavily chipped and broken all around the base, sides and on the back. Purchased in Jerusalem.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: chipped, surface loss, scratched, worn.
