Scarab

Green glazed steatite scarab seal with details of the head, legs and wings decorated with lotus flower design on the back, and flat base inscribed with hieroglyphs in three columns. Slightly chipped on the back. Pierced through the length for threading. Recorded as being from tomb 228 E '06.
