Scarab (Forgery)

Forgery of a carnelian scarab seal with details of the head, round eyes, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a representation of a scorpion on the left and a standing animal holding a scepter on the right. Pierced through the length for suspension. There are remains of gold leaf mostly around the sides. Chipped on the side and on the base.
