Scarab Seal

Currently not on display

Tiny flat backed scaraboid seal (or may be described as a plaque seal). Rectangular shaped with rounded corners. Base is decorated with some hard to distinguish hieroglyphs: 7 signs that may include a nefer sign. Green glaze. Perfect preservation. Prof. Percy Newberry dated it to the 18th Dynasty. Pierced through the length for suspension.
