Scincus scincus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Lizard with long wedge-shaped snout, tapering body completely covered in shiny scales, tail is short ending in a thin point. Mainly yellow or yellowish-brown in colour with several brown or black crossbands. Total length 18-20 cm.
