Fragment of a limestone statue with two roughly carved cartouches that are hard to read, perhaps carved onto the body of a royal figure. There are traces of pigment: yellow stripes and red and blue within the thickness. Accompanying presentation box has printed on the inside; Tel el Amarna, upper Egypt, Excavated by WM Flinders Petrie 1892, exhibited at 4, Oxford Mansion, Oxford Circus, W, 19 Sept to 15 Oct.
