Forgery of an ancient Egyptian antiquity acquired by Sir Henry Wellcome from the Robert de Rustafjaell collection. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, pitted, surface dirt, two labels adhered to surface (one rectangular with ornate blue border no. "132..."; and the other round with pencil number 69/7). Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 9– 10 December 1907 (de Rustafjaell sale) Lot 69 "Seven Heads from similar figures; all of granite".
