Sculpture of Cybele

Seated figurine of Cybele holding a tympanum (small drum) in her left hand, accompanied by a lion. Charles Gatty's description: "Figure of a woman, seated, with high headdress, the right arm gone, the left leaning on a shield (?); a dog or lio on her lap, a lion on either side the trhine: in white marble"; with another not by AWF (?) "Cybele - very good - Graeco-Roman".
