Mummiform blue faience shabti wearing a plain tripartite wig painted black. The rear lappet is short and finishes at the top of of the shoulders. The arms are crossed right over left on the chest. The arms and right hand are outlined in black. The hands hold a pair of hoes added in black. A basket with square–hatched detail is carried behind the left shoulder. The face is well modelled, and has the eyes with brows, and the mouth added in black. A three–stranded wesekh–collar is painted in black on the chest. A vertical column of inscription is painted on the front of the shabti although the name of the owner was never added and it just reads, "The Osiris, ….".
One of the previous owners, Amy Urlin, assisted W. M. F. Petrie on his excavation of the cemetery at Abydos in 1901 and this shabti may have been aquired at this time.
