Shabti

Mummiform shabti wearing a tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back added in black. The arms are crossed above the waist, and the hands hold a pair of hoes that are added in black. A plain rectangular basket with shoulder straps is painted on the back of the shabti. Eyes are indicated by black dots with lines for eye brows. A vertical column of hieroglyphic inscription names the owner. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface loss, discoloured, pitted, surface dirt.
