Shabti Fragment

Fragment of a green glazed shabti. Only the front of the chest is preserved, showing both arms crossed over the chest, surving right arm holding a hoe. Figure is wearing a wig and a broad collar, suggesting this is a shabti in everyday dress, typical of the 19th dynasty. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, surface loss, surface dirt, label adhered to surface. Collector's label: "FRAGMENT OF FINE GLAZED STONE GOD (yellow, green & brown glazing). DATE ABOUT 1300 B.C.
